M.A. Architect
Founder - Partner
Jan O. M. Prömel (Jomp): very outgoing and communicative, likes to consider different perspectives and is always dressed in black
Jomp is a founding partner of Jomp. Architecture. During his Master of Arts studies at HafenCity University (HCU), which he completed in 2011, he already worked as a freelancer in various architecture firms. Jomp's specialty is turning ideas into reality, which is why he founded his own company in 2013. In doing so, he pursues the idea of leaving a lasting impression and attaches great importance to aesthetics, functionality and minimalism. Since architecture usually outlives its users, he sees a special responsibility in realizing his visions. Jomp compares architects to conductors, whose task is to create a complete work from individual instruments and tools. In the office, he ensures balanced interaction, whereby honest criticism and communication, but also cheerfulness and good cooperation are important to him. Thanks to his numerous projects and ideas, Jomp rarely gets bored outside of work. First and foremost are his two daughters Louise (*2001) and Ronja (*2023). Whether it's working on his bus, juggling drumsticks in the band room or calming down with yoga - there's always something to do. And if not, then, according to Jomp, "acquisition has been neglected".
