The new sports hotel Golf 'n Wave is being built at the Wulfener Hals camping and vacation park in the active resort Fehmarn with a focus on water sports and the existing golf course. The hotel has more than 50 rooms spread over four floors. The design, which was developed by the Ladehoff architectural office, which is particularly renowned in the hotel sector, provides for comprehensive facilities with fitness, wellness and catering services in addition to accommodation. Jomp. Architecture is tasked with project implementation starting from the execution planning phase. In view of the constantly increasing demand for sustainable construction methods, particular attention is paid to the realization of ecological building technology (e.g. with photovoltaic systems) in order to obtain KfW funding. It is also important to design the architecture of the building façades in such a way that they emphasize the sporty and beach-oriented character of the hotel and at the same time withstand wind and weather. As several specialist planners are involved in this complex construction project, a high degree of coordination is required, which is to be optimized through consistent planning on the digital 3D building model and corresponding data exchange. Construction is scheduled to begin in 2023.
