New construction midi houses

The idea of the midi houses is to create a living space that is characterized by its compactness, but still offers the greatest possible living comfort. Next to the Prömelland organic farm in Boostedt, two of these small houses with one full storey are to be built in timber frame construction, each with an asymmetrical pitched roof with a 20° and 30° incline. Particular attention is paid to the harmonious integration of the houses into the natural, green surroundings. The construction method aims to meet the KfW-40 standard using sustainable and ecological building materials, which are deliberately selected according to location. The concept also provides for the buildings to be heated electrically via a shared photovoltaic system designed for this purpose, as well as being fitted with larch wood façades and wooden windows. With a constant eye on the environment, the roofs will be extensively greened on the areas not covered by PV elements.
