New Holiday Home
A holiday home with elevated ecological standards was realized in close proximity to the Baltic Sea. To achieve this, a clearly defined building volume with a gabled roof was designed using prefabricated timber construction. On the ground floor, the building features an open-plan living, cooking, and dining area, which is connected via an open gallery to the bedrooms located on the upper floor within the roof space. The south-facing gable side was fitted with a continuous glass façade to give the building a contemporary and high-quality character in its simplicity, while also providing the elongated floor plan with optimal natural daylight. The entrance area was deliberately separated from the main building volume in order to allow for flexible future expansion through a second residential unit or additional living space. This ensures the most sustainable long-term use possible, enabling the building to adapt to the changing needs of its residents over time.
